Abstract
Current status of the diagnosis and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis is reviewed, and screening for postmenopausal osteoporosis is discussed. Although prevention and treatment of osteoporosis have been extensively investigated, further knowledge and experience may be still needed for routine clinical application.
